Setting Standards

Hartmann Packaging (M) Sdn. Bhd., formerly known as Siangpack Sdn. Bhd., was established in the year 2000 and has grown to become one of Malaysia’s leading manufacturers of molded fiber packaging. With more than two decades of industry experience, we take pride in delivering high-quality, sustainable packaging solutions designed to protect products and reduce environmental impact.

In 2012, Siangpack was incorporated into the Thornico Group, a Denmark-based familyowned conglomerate with operations across seven global business sectors — packaging, food, food technology, shipping, sports & fashion, real estate, and digital online-tech. In 2014, Thornico Group acquired a majority share and assumed management of the company, and by 2021, it became the sole owner.

Within the Thornico Group’s packaging division, Hartmann Packaging (M) Sdn. Bhd. operates alongside Hartmann Packaging (formerly Brdr. Hartmann) in Europe and Sanovo Greenpack, the market leader in molded fiber packaging across Brazil and Argentina. Together, these companies form a strong global network, sharing expertise and innovation in sustainable molded fiber packaging technologies.

Strategically located in Penang, Malaysia, we serve customers throughout Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Australia, and New Zealand. For over two decades, we have specialized in the production of molded paper pulp packaging products — primarily for eggs — recognized for their durability and ability to reduce transportation costs.

Our packaging solutions are 100% recyclable and biodegradable, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Our product range includes egg trays, standard and premium cartons, and a variety of packaging designs to meet different market needs — such as 30-pack trays (Universal and AA sizes), 4-pack, 10-pack, imagic® 2x6, imagic® 12-pack, and the latest imagic²® models with customizable, colorful labels. Designed for both functionality and appeal, our egg cartons are eco-friendly, cost-effective, and visually attractive, making them a marketer’s dream.

As part of the Thornico Group’s global packaging structure, Hartmann Packaging Malaysia continues to combine local expertise with international standards — crafting packaging solutions that perform, protect, and inspire confidence.
