Hartmann Packaging A/S and Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi AŞ are pleased to announce that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Hartmann will acquire SC Dentaş Romania SRL, a subsidiary of Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi AŞ. The completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Founded in 2004 and located in Tărtăşeşti, Dâmboviţa County, Romania, SC Dentaş Romania SRL specializes in the production of moulded fiber packaging solutions. The company has played a key role in expanding Dentaş’ regional footprint and product offering.
As a part of the Abalıoğlu Group, Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi AŞ has grown into a leading provider of moulded fiber packaging, with production facilities in Denizli and Aksaray, Turkey, alongside its operations in Romania. This transaction is aligned with Dentaş’ strategic focus on its core markets and creates an opportunity to generate further value by transferring its Romanian operations to a dedicated global player in the industry.
