Celebrating the 2026 White House Easter Egg Roll
Families gathered on the South Lawn for the 2026 White House Easter Egg Roll — a beloved tradition of learning, play, and community. Hartmann was proud to support the event and bring the journey from hen to home to life.
This spring, families from across the country gathered on the South Lawn of the White House for the 2026 White House Easter Egg Roll — a beloved American tradition that continues to bring joy, learning, and celebration to children and parents alike.
The Easter Egg Roll is a long-standing tradition at the White House. Each year, thousands of families participate in egg rolling races, interactive exhibits, story times, live entertainment, and educational activities that highlight agriculture, healthy living, and American farming.
Supporting and Celebrating the American Egg Industry
As in years past, our egg cartons were used for the egg packing game at the “Hen to Home” station on the South Lawn. This interactive station allowed the kids a hands-on opportunity to learn how eggs are gathered, packed, and eventually arrive at homes across the country.
The entire “Hen-to-Home” portion of the lawn exhibits allowed children and families to explore the journey of an egg — from the farm to their kitchen table. This interactive area continues to be a meaningful way to educate young attendees about where their food comes from, the care that goes into egg production, and the importance of American agriculture. We were honored to once again support the event through our partnership with the American Egg Board.
Sustainability in Action
For us, participating in the White House Easter Egg Roll is not only about celebrating tradition — it’s also about demonstrating sustainability in action.
Our molded fiber egg cartons are made from 100% recycled materials. By using post-consumer recycled paper and post-industrial corrugate to create durable, protective packaging, we help give new life to existing materials while reducing the need for virgin resources.
After the festivities conclude, our cartons can be easily recycled again and become another paper product or even another egg carton. It’s a full-circle story.
Unlike plastic or polystyrene foam, our cartons won’t contribute to long-lasting plastic waste left behind after the event. Instead, they represent a sustainable, recyclable solution that aligns with what many families appreciate in packaging today.
Looking Ahead
We are proud that our packaging continues to support both the American egg industry and events that highlight education, agriculture, and sustainability at the highest level — right at the United States White House.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration in the years ahead!
