Environmental Education for Children and Teachers
Inspiring young minds and supporting educators through sustainability workshops
As part of our ongoing “From Father to Son” program, Hartmann Packaging in Ács, Hungary recently organized a series of special workshops focused on environmental protection and sustainability. These sessions took place at local schools and kindergartens and were designed to help raise awareness among both children and educators.
The children participated in fun, interactive activities that showed them simple and age-appropriate ways they can care for the environment—whether at home, in school, or outdoors. Through games, stories, and hands-on learning, they discovered how small everyday actions can make a difference. The goal was to help them build positive habits early on and understand their role in protecting the planet.
In addition to the sessions for children, we also hosted a dedicated workshop for teachers. This professional training focused on practical methods for teaching environmental responsibility in a way that fits into their daily work. By supporting educators with useful tools and fresh ideas, we hope to ensure that sustainability remains a part of classroom learning long after the workshops have ended.
We believe that creating a long-term impact starts with education—and we are proud to support our local community by encouraging a culture of environmental awareness from an early age.
