Kindergarten Fence Painting (EFS Department Initiative)

Supporting our local community with care, colour, and kindness

Published 08 October 2022

Our Engineering, Facility, and Services (EFS) team recently came together for a meaningful community project: repainting the fence of a local kindergarten and helping to improve its playground area. The team volunteered their time, skills, and energy, taking great care to create a more welcoming and safe environment for the children.

This initiative was carried out entirely on a voluntary basis, reflecting the team’s strong commitment to giving back to the community where we live and work. In addition to the new coat of paint, small repairs were made to parts of the playground, helping to brighten the space and make it more enjoyable for the children.

As a thank you, the children surprised our team with a lovely performance, filled with music and smiles. It was a heartfelt and emotional moment that reminded everyone how even small gestures can make a big difference. The joy on the children’s faces made the effort worthwhile and left a lasting impression on our volunteers.

We are proud of our colleagues in Hartmann Packaging, Ács, Hungary, for their initiative and spirit of community. This project is a great example of how we can come together to support local causes and create positive change—one brushstroke at a time.
