#NotALuxuryBag Campaign
Showing solidarity through small acts of care and compassion
To mark International Women’s Day, our female colleagues at Hartmann Packaging in Ács, Hungary joined the national #NotALuxuryBag campaign—an initiative focused on supporting women in vulnerable situations.
The campaign encourages people to donate gently used handbags filled with essential hygiene products. These bags are then distributed to women in need across the country. The message is clear: hygiene is not a luxury—it’s a basic necessity, and every woman deserves access to it, no matter her circumstances.
Our team responded with generosity and empathy. A wide range of care packages were assembled and sent to the campaign’s partnering organization, each one containing items like soap, sanitary products, toothpaste, and more. But just as important as the contents was the intention behind them—to offer dignity, support, and a sense of solidarity to women facing hardship.
Participating in this initiative was not just about giving; it was about standing together and raising awareness of the challenges many women face every day. We are proud of our colleagues for their compassion and social engagement—and for showing that even small gestures can carry great meaning.
