Hartmann India celebrates inauguration of new production line in Sanauli

Celebration, culture and teamwork marked the inauguration of a new production line at Hartmann’s facility in Sanauli, India.

Hartmann India recently marked an important milestone with the inauguration of a new production line at its facility in Sanauli, Punjab.

The inauguration was celebrated with a special event that brought together colleagues from across the site, highlighting both the significance of the milestone and the strong local culture that defines Hartmann’s presence in India.

A day rooted in local traditions

The celebration began with a traditional and spiritual opening ceremony, reflecting local customs and setting the tone for the day. The new line was officially inaugurated by CEO Torben Rosenkranz-Theil, who also had the honour of holding the first tray produced.

Ernesto W. Schonbrod, President South America & Asia, also attended the event, underlining the importance of the Indian market within Hartmann’s global operations.

A celebration of people and teamwork

Following the inauguration, more than 200 employees gathered in a festively decorated warehouse to celebrate the milestone together.

The event featured speeches, music, and dance performances – including contributions from Hartmann employees – creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. The celebration reflected the strong sense of community and pride among the team in Sanauli.

The day also included a recognition of employees who played a key role in bringing the new production line to life.

Part of a global journey

Hartmann’s presence in India dates back to 1990. Since becoming part of the Hartmann Group in 2020, the business has continued to grow as an important part of the company’s global footprint.
