Hartmann completes Romanian acquisition and strengthens European footprint
Hartmann Packaging A/S has completed the acquisition of SC Dentaş Romania SRL, adding production capacity, new capabilities and a strong position in attractive European growth markets.
Hartmann has completed the acquisition of SC Dentaş Romania SRL from Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi AŞ following receipt of the necessary regulatory approval. The agreement to acquire the company was first announced in April 2025.
Founded in 2004 and located in Tărtăşeşti in Dâmboviţa County, Romania, the company specialises in moulded-fibre packaging. The acquisition expands Hartmann’s European production footprint, adds capacity and broadens the Group’s product offering in key growth markets.
“This acquisition is an important strategic step in expanding Hartmann’s European footprint, and after working on the transaction for an extended period, we are excited to have completed it,” says Torben Rosenkrantz-Theil, CEO of Hartmann Packaging.

A platform for further development
With the acquisition completed, Hartmann will now begin integrating the Romanian operation into the Group. A number of investment projects will also be initiated to strengthen the plant and expand its capabilities.

The completion of the acquisition was marked at the plant in Tărtăşeşti, where colleagues gathered for the official handover and to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter as part of Hartmann.
